Gonna miss you, pops. Going from roofing houses 3 years ago to watching all the pain and frustration in the last year was hard to watch you go through. Mostly for your sake, due to you being so independent. Iknow you were ready and satisfied with your life. Thank you for all the lessons in life, hobbies and trades shared with us and your grandkids. You were always willing to help anyone that comes along, and share your many, many stories of life adventures from firefighting to gold planning. You've touched so many people, hours could be spent by all the people you've helped telling their experiences. Four days short of you and Mom's 59th anniversary. Cheers to a true Family man in values. Thank you for everything and especially being my father. Godspeed pops. Always and forever in my heart and thoughts. Shawn Blakeslee

I met Harold thru the fire dept. He always had a smile and a story. His dear wife worked with my mom years ago. They were and always will be true friends. May he have a great time answering the alarm at the heavenly fire station. Until we meet again my friend. RIP. Joe Stringham

Dad, appreciate all things you've done for us. I thank you for being my dad and will miss you dearly. We seen you go through so much this last year and am glad we got to spend time with you during the time left. We thought we had more time but we are thankful for the time spent. I have so many memories and wouldn't change any of it. Just want you to know I love you very much. I know you are watching over us. Until I see you again. Many hugs and kisses. Christina Rolfe

I miss you grandpa, even if you haven't been gone long I miss you. I wish we could've played one more game of basketball like you always loved to do. I should've hugged you tighter when I had the chance, I'll make sure you're never forgotten. Thank you for everything you've done for me and everyone else, your kindness made you stand out in a crowd with the loudest laugh and most contagious smile. Thank you for teaching me things I would never have learned on my own and thank you for stepping up when you didn't have to. Thank you for being there when I needed you and when I didn't. Thank you for making me smile even on hard days. I love you so much and miss you more then words can say. Ill help take care of grandma while you are gone, you always took amazing care of her. The love between you two was beautiful even in your final moments, we all love you grandpa and miss you dearly. McKenna Rolfe

A wonderful grandpa and an amazing teacher. He taught me so many things in life and gave me a lot of my humor. He did so much for me in my life and I was always happy to hear his stories and jokes when I visited. I'm going to miss him like crazy but I know the next time I see him he'll have new stories and jokes to share with me. But he lives on in our memories and hearts, love ya grandpa. Brantly Rolfe

Sorry to hear Harold was not a close friend but to me a good friend. Glen Wilkinson
