Tawnya Lee Osterhout Perkins, age 55, passed away on December 17, 2025. She was born in Burley, Idaho, and raised in Declo, Idaho, where she built the foundation of a life centered on love, family, and compassion.

Tawnya was the proud mother of Jacobi Breeding, Levi Osterhout, Whitney Hansen, and Falicia Martindale. She was an adoring grandmother to Kiara Peterson, Kaylee Peterson, Everleigh Peterson, Bentlee Osterhout, Hannah Osterhout, Kyler Osterhout, Riverlynn Osterhout, Delson Hansen, and Lincoln Hansen. While Tawnya was deeply proud to be a mother, her greatest joy in life was being a grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Evelyn and Roland Schofield, Devon and Betty Osterhout; her aunt Juli and uncle Chuck; her beloved grandchildren Owen Osterhout and Kylee Osterhout; and multiple other grandchildren whom she has now finally met.

Tawnya was a loving and selfless woman who always put others before herself. Even during her own struggles, she never failed to ask how someone else was doing. Her kindness, strength, and genuine care for others will be remembered by all who knew her.

A service honoring Tawnya’s life will be held at Morison Funeral Home located on the highway in Rupert, Idaho on December 30th at 12:00 PM, a viewing will be held prior to the service from 11:00 AM. To 11:45 AM.  Family and friends are welcome to wear purple, Tawnya’s favorite color, in her honor.

Tawnya’s love lives on through her children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.
