Sharon Patricia Call Anderson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, at the age of 88. She was born on October 29, 1937, in Bancroft, Idaho, to a loving family that nurtured her gentle strength and lifelong devotion to others.
Sharon grew up in Bancroft and graduated from North Gem High School, where her determination and quiet resilience began to shine. She was one of four children—Marian Jeanne Call Jensen, Iris June Call Mortenson, and Edgar Ira “Sonny” Call—each bound by deep family ties. Her younger brother, Sonny, was born with Down syndrome, and Sharon became one of his earliest and most devoted caregivers. From a young age, she helped raise him with tenderness and patience, a role she embraced until she left for college at just 17. Her love for Sonny shaped the compassion she carried throughout her life. While attending school, Sharon met the love of her life, Lamar Cornell Anderson.
They were married in the Logan LDS Temple on October 19, 1955, beginning a partnership built on loyalty, hard work, and unwavering devotion. Together they made their home in Burley, Idaho, where they raised their three children—Dale, Alan, and Lynn.
Life brought its share of challenges, but Sharon faced every obstacle with a smile that never dimmed. A gifted seamstress, she created clothing that wrapped her family in love. She also took great pride in canning food from the family garden, filling shelves with the fruits of their labor and the warmth of her care.

She built a home where kindness was abundant, where work was shared, and where every person felt welcome. Her hands were rarely still, and her heart was always open.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will continue to live on in the stories she leaves behind, the traditions she nurtured, and the generations who carry her love forward.
