Nona Marie Morrison Jenks, 89, passed away the 11th of September 2014 at CountrySide Care and Rehab from factors incident to age.  She was born 29 April 1925 in Burley, Idaho, to Charles and Nina Warner Morrison, the oldest of five children.  She received her education in Paul and Heyburn, graduating from Heyburn High School in 1943. She married Orvin C Jenks on February 11, 1944 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  During her married life, she lived in Declo, Heyburn and Rupert. In 1964, they moved to the family farm near Oakley and resided there until circumstances necessitated a move to be nearer family assistance. One of her greatest joys was visiting and being loved by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a great by-product of being the mother of nine children. She loved each one and was so faithful in sending cards and a little money to each one on their birthday. Nona worked at Kings for many years and then realized her dream of being a cosmetologist.  She retired after 20 years of service to the public.  She is survived by four sons: DeVaughn (Pam) of Oakley; Stephen (Sara) of Brigham City; Bob (Janet) of Blackfoot; and Brian Jenks of Minot, ND.  Three daughters, Joanne (Randy)Cook of Fruit Heights, UT; Nina (Tim)Osterhout of Jackson; Marla (Chuck)Osterhout of Declo. One daughter-in-law, Lucille (Kirby)Jones of Pasco, Washington, and one sister, Barbara (Merrill)Holyoak, 46 grandchildren and innumerable great-grandchildren.  She was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, two children: Lawrence Kay Jenks and Karla Rae Jenks, one grandson; Derek Osterhout and her brother Marvin (Clara)Morrison, sisters; Sylvia (Arville)Jensen and Arvetta (Everett)Savage.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Rupert 1st Ward Building, 806 G Street in Rupert.  Friends may call Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert and from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. Monday at the church prior to the funeral.  Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. at the Gem Memorial Gardens in Burley.
