Emanuelita Aurora Reyes Aguinaga age 81, passed away Saturday January 27th 2024 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family and friends.

Emanuelita was born August 9th 1942 in Lubbock Texas to Jose Maria Reyes and Canuta Salazar Reyes they migrated to different cities and settled in Burley idaho. She was the sixth of 14 children, She worked at Ore-ida for many years, She was a strong-willed and determined women to make it on her own. As a single mother raising her 4 children she taught them to work hard for what they wanted and pray for what they needed. She loved going to church and singing and prayed with such passion and love for the Lord. Family was the most important thing to her and she was adored by her grandchildren She always showed interest in what everyone was doing and could talk to anyone at the grocery store in the airplane or wherever she was there was never a stranger in her eyes. Her favorite foods was apple pie and grapes and this was the only time she would not share.

Emanuelita is survived by her 4 children Linda Garcia Pingree, Idaho. Julio (Letty) Aguinaga ,Paul Idaho. Patricia (Fernando) Zamora, Queen Creek, Arizona and Christina Zubia, Burley Idaho. As well as her 12 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is survived by her sister's Carmen, Elizabeth, Susie and Diana.

We know there was a heavenly reunion with those that who went before her brother's Raymond, Manuel ,Rogelio, Joe, Cleto, Richard and her sisters Mary Lou, Janie and Gloria. Even though heaven received a beautiful Angel.
She left an Imprint in the hearts of all who knew her and loved her she will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Morrison Funeral Home, 188 South Hwy 24 in Rupert from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

To Nellie's family I am so sorry to hear the loss of your mother. I always enjoy your mother, I know when my oldest granddaughter adopted out one of her children. ne of the greatest Tias ever. I remember meeting her when I was around 12. Even though we didn’t see her in person after that I always saw her pictures on FB. She was so beautiful. My condolences to all the family. My Tia was truly amazing even though I live so far away I would always talk to her when she called my mom (her sister Juanita).
