David Mahlon Maxwell, aka “Max” of Burley, Idaho, passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2021 with his daughter by his side. Max was born on May 19th, 1965 in Ashland, Oregon and grew up in Oregon and Idaho. Max is survived by his father, Leroy Maxwell of Corona, CA; his daughter, Kayla Morgan, son-in-law Marshall Morgan, and his grumplets Noah, Blake, Trenton, and Grace who reside in Alaska. Max was a proud father. He was also a proud Grumpy and was always bragging about his grumplets to everyone he met. Max has 4 Siblings: Sheree Maxwell Bench, Kerri Maxwell Bradford, Jonathan Maxwell, and Dan Maxwell who all reside in Utah. Max is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Gierisch Maxwell, and Grandparents Ralph and Cloteal Gierisch.

Max was known for his unique and authentic personality, his motohead knowledge, love for Mopar, great taste in music, and known for his love of Pomeranians. Max was a free spirit. He lived life to its fullest and stayed true to himself. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone, anytime. He was also part of a brotherhood and lived by The Bikers Code. If you had the honor of meeting Max, you’d know he had a contagious laugh and was full of jokes. He could always make you smile. He made friends with people all over the world and is missed by many.

Max wished not to have a funeral service, but instead a Celebration of Life which will be held on July 31st. in Idaho. He will also have a final ride and his ashes spread. In lieu of flowers, please consider helping by donating to the GoFundMe Page “In Honor of my father, Mad Max,”https://gofund.me/cd95cef0
